ARE WE A GOOD FIT?
I see the most gorgeous backdrops on walls that are crumbling and have perhaps seen better days. I see frames created by snarly tree branches and bits of moss and reflections in muddy puddles often overlooked in our hurried lives. I see glances that reveal the history of a couple's relationship. I see love so intense that it makes you tingle. I take these visions and make creative portraits that capture emotional stories. The clients who appreciate the creative possibilities of my work will benefit most.
My ideal client is an adventure seeker, someone who thrives on jumping and then looking for the net, people who are brave and intense and fun and open to new experiences and places. My ideal client enjoys the finer things in life and appreciates beauty - looking at beautiful things, exuding beauty, seeking beauty inside and out. My ideal client is open-minded about life and art and possibility. One of my favorite quotes is by Emily Dickinson: "Dwell in possibility." Sometimes I go into the creative office in my mind and get super excited about shots that I just have to capture. The shots I am envisioning may not be obvious, but my ideal client trusts me to bring out their uniqueness, confidence and radiance through the imagery I create.
STYLE
Creative Documentary. I have a master's degree in documentary photography. My photography is photojournalism with a splash of my own vision.
TIMELINE
Wedding packages include eight hours of coverage. It's $300 for each additional hour.
RETAINER
We require a 50 percent retainer upon booking. The final payment is due seven days prior to your wedding.
NUMBER OF WEDDING PHOTOS DELIVERED
About 900 high-resolution digital images.
WHEN ARE PHOTOS DELIVERED
We provide several sneak peek images the week of the wedding. The remainder of the images are provided within eight weeks.
TRAVEL FEE
We charge a travel fee for weddings more than 50 miles from Alameda, Calif.
SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER
We always provide two photographers with our normal wedding packages.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel your wedding, we keep your retainer unless we are able to book another wedding on your date.
ALBUMS
Our stylish leather wedding albums are handcrafted in Italy. We also have beautiful engagement books that can be used for guests to sign-in at the wedding.
